Rawalpindi Ring Road

علیکم السلام

Yes Nadeem sb.

This RR has to become a reality. There is a limit to stop things. Driving inside town is now horrible in normal hours and murderous in school times!

How long these stupid can possibly stop this vital need?

New airport is another factor, being realized now.

Sir, DHA3 {GC Part} has already in highlight. A 10 Marla is now on offer: With possession, on installment at 1 crore 5 lacs and that is just beginning!

Another main reason of traffic jam is heavy commercial traffic which is diverted from Rawat to Islamabad express way, then IJP Road to GT road and these roads are already occupied with local traffic. Whoever has to pass though from Rwp Isd, has two options only Islamabad expressway and GT road which take almost 1 hour for traveler to go thorough, if govt make ring road, all this unnecessary and commercial traffic can be diverted to ring road.

At the end I would say Rawalpindi is the worst planned city in Pakistan as per its road infrastructure, or I would say not planned at all.

New twist in Pindi ring road.

Next week a Chinese delegation is coming Pakistan to finalize the loan to build the ring road.

Hopefully this much neglected project will get some Oxygen.

Sounds like the time has come for RRR. Any online source/link for the news?

Yesterday’s Jung. Btw Ch Nisar has been asked to pay attention to this project since much of it is passing through his constituency.

Aray seedhe sadhe logo road ban hi jayega laikin ye sood samet qarza kaun aur kahan se de ga? Our government is driving this country towards a head on collision.

  • on a lighter note.

Baat to such hai, but since I or lets say my generation started to get the human senses in early 90s yehi sun rahay hain 'Mulk Nazuk dour say Guzar Raha Hai'.

Ab almost 30 saal main mental strength tu aa hi gaye hai kay halaat bhugtaa letay hain. Jis nay IJP aur Faizabad wali traffic jhail li, woh head-on collision bhi seh jaye ga... Aanay wali Nasal ko bata tu sakain gay kay Ring Road or shayad Margalla Avenue hamari zindagi main ban hi gaye thay.

Airport wali billi tu thailay say bahir aa chuki hai, it would be good to see kay RRR kay baad topi say kya niklay ga. Right now every micky mouse society is like 'Ring Road say mulhiqa' ya 'New Airport say 5 minute ki musafat'...

    ----
RRR passage can support a good enough commercial infrastructure, small to medium business and employment, at the very least.

Agreed to Imtiaz SB.

This loan on each Pakistani is a peanut if only 20 per cent curruption or so could be stopped collectively from each department!

It seems " pehli eent rakh dee hay supreme court nain".

If Allah Pak Decides to save us from Zardari/MR/Noora cartel, loan could written off in just one term!

Idealistic and fantasy. It's not the leaders it's the nation, the entire nation is corrupt. Sabzi wale se lai kr PM tak sare chor hain.

Ye jo kuch chal raha hai mere khyal me foreign me jo pakistani bete hain un k paiso se chl raha hai. Yahan tu sare chor hain hr aik dept me.

Warning to All:- Capital Smart City is Big Bluff.
It is Located at Mandwal/Chahan Rawalpindi SR #45 of http://www.rda.gop.pk/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Approved_Schemes.pdf
Now open Google Earth Pro and measure distance from Motorway. It is roughly 4-8 Km. From Thalian interchange, it is minimum 13 km. Now you all must realize why CSC has not "Opened" its site yet. These Dacoits are booking plots on Dealer Rebate. Plz Spread this message maximum

Any news about ring road after Punjab budget

Is this coincidence that all lavish road infrastructure including LRR, RRR and Peshawar Expressway, all happen to pass directly through their respective DHAs. Yes, DHA Pwr has started acquiring land around Expressway and it will get top class connectivity with M1 and PRR.

Based on this, I have zero doubt that RRR will be built on priority basis.

And Margalla Ave will not, because it does not enjoy the same privilege!

@Nasir, Punjab govt did not give next year budget. They presented supplementary budget for the current fiscal year.

Imtiaz bhai, yeh mulk Quaid-e-Azam key waqt sey nazuk daur sey guzr raha hey. We have proudly made it a security state, instead of being a welfare state. So developmental priorities are not on the agenda.

If taxes extracted from your and my bones do not go to create jobs and to our children's education, then we should not be surprised. Because, the responsible ones do not come in power with your and my votes. We are still being brainwashed that A is better than B, while none is accountable to people because they come into power from backdoor like Bizenjo and Sanjarani.

Can you imagine in this 21st century and age of internet/mobile and social media revolution, our half the population is complete illiterate and half the kids never see the door of a school. (This goes without exception across all the provinces).

@Isloo : You are right, Pakistan being a welfare state is just a dream.

As per some voices from inside the DHA, DHA-3 will get connected to RRR somewhere from Rawat side point. BT far blocks already connected thru DHA-3 to GT road.

This could happen if Chinese delegation agrees upon some fundamental steps regarding loan grant this month. Negotiations preps are ongoing as we speak.

RRR loan will be settled between government and Chinese bank: RDA out!

During the recent visit of Chinese delegation, the 38 km RRR project has been accepted by Chinses as fully doable and loan has been agreed upon. The project can be started in the next fiscal year if loan gets granted. The visiting team completed all prep talks with NESPAK/RDA/Joint Secretory China economic affair division. NOCs to be obtained from Pak Railway, NH & IESCO.

Which bahria or dha phase will benefit more? Where should one invest?

I also one to buy a house ir plot to build house on. Which area will have good access and better facilities?

If Ch. Nasar made incapacitated to harm MR, then phase-8 will be a natural beneficiary of RRR.

Opting for blocks now is not much important as it will be connected to the BT expressway.

Being away from GT road also will bring near to the RRR, new airport and downtown Pindi.

A bridge can be seen now connecting DHA-3 to the BT.

As I said before, DHA-3 is making its best to connect to RRR near its K block past Rawat T junction en route Lahore.

Dear Abdul Qayyum sb, I learn a lot from your posts in particular about Phase 8. I always look forward to read your opinion/views!

With due respect, I will beg to differ that Ch. Nisar and Malik Riaz (BT RWP) thing is a bit over-stated. Yes, there has been a political rivalry as one time Zardari (and PPP big guns) were in pocket of MR. However, we must not forget, that MR turned small criminals like Taji Khokhar to the worst land grabbers, murderers and kind of a Don that was growing beyond pindi - not sparing open firing on MNAs/MPAs, let alone common people. Any person or interior minister with authority will put at end to that sort of state within the state. When that happened these BT RWP guys start crying foul that its Ch. Nisar damaging us.

Ch. Nisar may have political agenda and tussle too, no denying but he was the interior minister and during his tenure BE, BT LHR and BT Khi flourished the most and BT in general saw its best time. Otherwise if these guys are left open, you know what they did in Khi and other projects and they wouldn't hesitate to murder someone with his entire family for an inch of land, if and when required.

Otheriwse, where BT Phase 8 has delivered people have praised them for their delivery but they have messed up and looted people life time savings too, while being ganged up with DHA.

In my opinion, RRR suffered due to lack of interest by Punjab Govt as on RWP side to gain political ground (after loosing NA-55/56, i guess first time in history) major focus was on RWP Metro, Health Institutes and sanitation that kept RRR out of the equation. Last 5 years, Punjab Govt had priorities regarding LHR, RWP and Multan due to political dent in last elections. Being a resident of RWP I see myself as a beneficiary of quite a lot of development and infrastructural improvement, however, I seriously oppose the idea of fund diversion to develop one part and ignoring the other.

I think, RRR has been left out for too long due to being a project with less political gain and slightly lower on the priority compared to other projects. I believe now the time has come that it can't and it must not be delayed any further.
