Rawalpindi Ring Road is necessary for whole Pindi.CN can ignore MR but any Gov can't ignore Dha-3,4,CMH,adiala jail,Bahria,fauji foundation and many more army related offices.
One more thing CN is no more in power in near future.What he did for Pindi when he was in power?Any good school,Any good double road?Any good hospital?Any good college or university in his area?But NS ans Showbaz-S company done a many good jobs just in Lahore even they took kickbacks but spent some in Lahore.

May be, the physibility report had been shared by nespak with two different options to rda, but I don’t think anything has been done on ground, as it must effect prices of dha 3, 4, phase 8, and extension specially, while the rates are almost stable in the area

As per my info, it will not cross thru BT phase 8 ext.so far it is a proposal. Any how the whole surrounding area will rise but hnooz dilli doar asat. Land acquisition is too much. Bank Financing, Tendering and work award and completion of work may take at least 3 yrs. So relax guy.

Bhaiyoo!At the moment no need to discuss Ring Road project & its beneficiary societies. Because Ring Road project, if starts n March 2018, will be completed in 2020 (at least). But yet it is n Air/Space; No approval, no land acquisition etc. Choro es ko. Best is Kashmir Highway & its surrounding; University Town, Mumtaz/Top City, Gandhara, Faisal Town, Shalimar Town, Airport enclave. Do not go for CBR-2, FOEHS or Capital Smart City.
Brothers what is future of underground water in Zone-2 and specially surroundings of Kashmir highway. In G-15, society developed in 5/6 years (in terms of house building start) ago, and now due to excessive pumping in area - now water getting short day by day and many people suffering.
this problem is till PAF tarnol, PAF also trying get water from shahpur(Fatejang) dam, but not succeeded so far. Generally societies not providing water. See for example Multi, T&T, Faisal Town etc. Majority of people are dependent on underground water.
and situation will get worst day by day.

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, which was proposed 27 years as an alternate route for heavy traffic, has instead been converted to a bypass, according to a news source. The project is now handed over to Punjab Highway Department, while it was previously with the Rawalpindi Development Authority.
Under the new arrangements, project costs have been cut to PKR 47 billion, while the length of the road has been reduced to 38 kilometres, and that of the link road to 15.59 kilometres. Furthermore, an economic zone, which was previously part of the RRR project, has also been cancelled.
For Rawalpindi Bypass, which starts from Channi Sher Alam Bridge in Rawat on GT Road, and ends at Thalian Interchange on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway M-2, land spanning 1,080 acres will be acquired. This project will comprise six flyovers, 10 overhead bridges, and three interchanges.

Why it's going to end at Thalian. I don't understand. Traffic coming from Lahore and eastern punjab heading KPK would again have to pass through within the city. Why there's no link road approved from thalian to gt road?

The money Pakistan has to pay back to the lending mafia is way out of proportion plus the last minutes corruption of the ruling cartel, this project seems not possible as of now!
The bypass is a must, so is the last days looting of going government!
I hope Army would push this long awaited project.
