SO BT Phase 8 will get Entrance to Garden City (serene City) through Express way which has been blocked by that small Village?
If so thats great news. The road has been block by the village for many years. How long do you think it will take as I have a plot in Block P?

I think government will use this ring road project as a lollipop for twin cities. A letter has been sent to AIIB for the financial support of ring road at the cost of 400 million dollars.

Road Demarcations are done on several locations. Army is now taking this bypass as a security instrument for the twin cities. You cannot drive even on the GT road in school hours on the Peshawar and downstream traffic.
This bypass cannot be delayed now.
The problem is, Shabaz Shareef takes everything He could get hold of the twin city budget and pour it out to Lahore for his 2018 votes.

what about Phase-8 and ring-road / bypass connection ? which point it might possibly connect ? Moreover That bypass will be closed access route like motorways or open access like GT Road ?

Meanwhile RDA is busy in making under passes on murree road for pedestrians. One thing is pretty sure that ring road can't be delayed any further. Roads are fully chocked now, took me more than an hour to reach home.

These feudal have their own filthy thinking: Do not relax the populace in their areas and keep them in constant problems so that these poor souls must remain connected with them for their “Thana & Kachary” problems. Any idea about Rose Garden? Is it good for investment? or start construction in an year for living or rental purpose?
Also the launch price was 2 million but on Zameen some people have places ads on about 1.8 million for selling.
If the Rind Road starts being constructed, what can be the impact/benefits for Rose Garden?

I think Ch Nisar diverted the funds for the development of Ring road towards different projects. E.g he widened, revamped, and recarpeting of Chakri road, Girja road, chakbeli khan road and many other roads in his area. It’s a huge maltreatment for the people of twin cities. He is so much arrogant and his rage against MR has gone so long. InshAllah he will be answered for his wrongdoing in next world.
You may be right, as far as CN’s tussle with MR. However, not to forget, the era of MR + Taji Khokhar Alliance was the worst in killing, land grabbing and alike stuff. That sort of stuff must had to be put an end to and I guess that has been largely contained.
It sounds like almost any issue of Phase 8 boils down to CN… Which is an overstatement. NA 50 - 56 is way too critical for the electoral politics of PML(N) and last time loosing 55, 56 PML had to do lots of infrastructural developments in those areas. I guess, if CN was that influential, he must had hindered the rise of Bahria Enclave too!
The bottom line is whether Ring Road or Margalla Avenue, both are typical examples of incompetency of Federal + Provisional authorities, nothing less and noting more.
They are all the same. Even KP guys are pushing for Metro and alike stuff which tey were cursing a few years ago and one of their overhead bridge costing millions have been deemed dangerous to use
p.s. I was born, being raised and live in RWP, however, I am no fan of either man CN, MR or SS or our current elected MNA Mr. IK.
