Its hard to say which ones exactly unless the Mickey Mouse Show at RDA concludes and even single bit of real progress being made. Its now a daily circus show with changing statements.
As per all the claims the common denominator remains 'Radio Pak' as one end of RRR. If you see on Maps, any thing coming from RWP and ending at Radio Pak will be touching the patch of I-14/15/16/17 CDA and adjacent area, roughly speaking approximate area between New Airport to Radio PAK/Ripah University/GT Road.
That's an IF, subject to reality check, the day this damn thing actually see anything beyond RDA meetings!
Now, the news of connecting RRR with margalla road is surfacing. what will happen now how long we’ll have to wait. Its alignment not even been finalized yet & don’t know how long we’ll have to wait for land accusation, PCs and actual work done
No surprise if in next few months its announced RRR will make a circle twice around twin cities. In reality, PC-I being dying it’s bureaucratic death in some old shelf of RDA

I dont think RRR is priority of current government. Previously Ch Nisar was pushing for it but now, PTI has no money neither the political will for this project. Some property dealers are just giving it a hipe to sell some of their plots. So friends, be careful. Just invest in safe societies like DHA or Isb proper CDA sectors. Another downfall of property is coming and on its way.

The latest development on RRR is that $400 million loan from Asian Investment Bank is to be diverted for Leh Expressway construction. And RRR will be developed on public-private model. The project is delayed so long that I feel bad for people who fall for the projects advertised as ‘close to RRR’ and ‘easily accessible because of RRR’ and invest in something that’s nowhere near to actualization.

Fund diverted to Leh Expressway (previously Shaikh Rasheed Expressway in Q-league end years) with next election insight and RRR is yet another Margalla Avenue (that died even before birth) if not the PES BRT. I can tell public-private model with project of that magnitude never works.
How would Public Model (already starving of cash and see Metro Bus extension to AIIP being stuck) manage even fraction of those budgets to kick-start...?

Was wondering how societies at 14-20 km could get benifit of RRR.
Lolz. Distances given in Manahil’s post are not like that. CSC is just 7 to 8 km from BWC while they have written 17 km. With that figure, BWC is only 11 to 12 km from RRR
Now that ring road is around 2 Kilometer away from Phase 8 extension, what would be the impact on phase 8 or phase 8 extension? is MR is gaining to get a link from RRR or phase 8&extension lost the ring road trophy.

Survey of RRR's topography, soil and existing roads has been conductee. Apparently Rawalpindi Commissioner doesn’t intend to treat RRR as a ‘normal project’ and will prioritize development work on it.
DG RDA, on the other hand, says that a special police task force and e-challan system will be launched for the project. To which I say; ‘don't make clothes for a not yet born baby.’ Are we living in exciting times or what?
