Rawalpindi Ring Road is going to be executed by Lahore Ring Road Authority: Punjab govt hands over RRR project to LRRA - Zameen News
Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) latest update: Landowners to be compensated for RRR project
I recently saw on the news that the Rawalpindi Commissioner has asked the land revenue department to identify landowners whose lands are to be acquired for the development of the RRR (Ring Road) project so that they can be compensated accordingly. For those people who are forced to give up their land (as per the Rawalpindi ring road’s latest map) must be worried, since government-sanctioned compensation funds tend to be stalled for years on end.
Do you folks think that these people will get appropriate compensation? And more importantly, will they get it on time?
I am looking to invest in a new housing community on the Ring Road but towards the I-12 to 14 sectors. Do you know of any good communities in the area?
There is some news regarding RRR in newspapers almost weekly. Can someone shed light that what are expectations and when will land acquisitions will end?
News in market is issuance of RRR work order mid july 2020. Let’s see
Accoring to latest news, the project will kick off in July 2020.
I am interested to know that which specific thing will kick off. Like they have been working since decades so what will be something different in july or so? Will the land acquisition start or end?
Khalid sb, hope so...
Whatever that may be, let us hope that doesnt end up being a Margalla Avenue thing where a Federal Institute, i.e., CDA cant sort out just '12 km' within its territory ...
Here we are talking about something at min 40 - 50 KM through densely populated RWP and entering ISB with two different authorities.
Being optimistic but not over enthusiastic...
PTI ki development.

Just saw this:
The Punjab government approved a work plan to start the construction of the Rawalpindi Ring Road. Additionally, the plan to establish seven economic zones along the project route has also been approved.
Bids will be invited by month’s end and the contract will be awarded in July. The project will be inaugurated by CM Punjab within 90 days.
The project is set to be completed by July 30, 2023.

By the way, that BRT Thakey-daar spotted in LHR these days after bagging another theka ...
Bottomline:
Bhai in say na ho payee ga, daro us din say jis din ho gaya...
RRR — kon jeeyta hai teri zulf k sar honay tak
INVEST wisely Live Well :)
In my opinion one should wait until the on ground work kicks off for the RRR Project. Better to take the property by paying some profit / Own rather to invest in the air.
Yes, agreed. Invest wisely and after due diligence. I wonder if any member or someone you know may be attending this seminar/meeting. It's tomorrow in Rawalpindi Gymkhana at 4 PM.
I don't trust the authorities but it would interesting to know and hear what they come up with tomorrow, nevertheless.

I have seen few of its clips on youtube. You can follow that, its mainly on the commercial zones around RRR

Totally agree with you. Specially keeping in view the track record of this highly incompetent, incapable, all-talk-no-action looters and plunderers, i would not put a single penny on what they claim they would do.
If anyone in doubt is welcome to check their performance in KP and BRT which has eaten up 3 times the funds and delayed for years with no completion in sight.
I have no doubt that they will start RRR, bcoze that'll be another source to ciphon off public money, but don't expect it to complete.
