RRR is not going to happen in this incompetent puppet govt. These puppets have closed down 60 billion dollar CPEC in return for 1.5 billion dollar nokari of their master (amreeka).

Islamabad highway expansion has been abandoned. Zone 5 and DHA projects are dead (again).

The city has shifted its direction towards West with Kashmir Highway as the new artery. With new metro completion on KH (thanks to PMLN), the remaining juice of Zone 5 will be completely drained.

Files of Bahria 8 extension are being sold around 8-9 Lac now, with all dues clear. Is it a good option for 5 years or is there any other option available in this range?

Ext. Is a big gamble that is being played since 7+ yrs and anyone is yet to make any thing out of that except for BT and dealers community. Disposed that back in 2015 at break-even and the guy who purchased sold that after 1.5 yrs at almost no profit/no loss.

As far as BT, Orchard may be better option but a bit expensive.

CBR-2 Residencia, all due clear with ballotted number is available in same range and probably much safer and better beneficiary of RRR, as things stand now. Some projects on Chakri Road may grow too.

There may be many other options (though not aligned with RRR). Wherever you go, try to go for ones with plot number and NOC, if possible.

Some more good news, apparently, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has decided to fund RRR if the government can acquire the land for it (the government had already allocated money for land acquisition, though the process is yet to begin.)

The lender had no issues right from the go. It's the local morons, lazy and incompetent as brick, drenched in their commission extortion tactics. See PES BRT where lender provided money as desired but it has turned into a disaster. Same with Expressway project, forget it for years to come before even the land acauistion process begin. If CDA couldn't acquire 12 KM patch for Margalla Avenue, don't expect much from RDA for 50+ KM passing through densely populated areas.

True, they keep throwing the same news repeatedly in press release to show that they are doing something then 6 months later you find out the matters stand as they stood previously.

According to an official privy to the details, the initial work on the project has begun and appointment of the consultant to work on feasibility study is in final stage. The authorities will begin procuring land after the feasibility study"

'Ring Road to be a game changer for Rawalpindi’ …another day another time commissioner rwp remind ppl of rwp that rwp ring road is very important project to control traffic of rwp.i mean is it a joke after 3 weeks or a month gap repeating the same news in a different news paper.

Its time they start showing some real action on the ground. Islamabad Expressway and RRR are the required projects and should be executed on urgent basis. Without such mega projects, the city development will be gravely impacted and the population explosion will keep making such acquisitions even more difficult. Act now or expect total failure.
