Hard to add more than what is already said by Imtiaz sb.
However as per the old info from “Baboos” when NESPAK made 1st proposal, the BT garden city/now DHA-3 had access to proposed bypass through the Rawalpindi housing society/now DHA3.
The entrance point, as shown, was some 5 km, past Rawat junction on GT road en route BT zone--4 which was later named as zone-5 extension.
MR wanted to make another BT towards that side to connect his expressway to RRR but Ch. Nisar did not make him successful. I remember MR pointed finger on him telling his name in a press conference and abandoned the idea.
*Now there are so many questions on RRR:
*Will there be 8 nos of flyovers as per the very first PC1?
*Will there will be any service road on either side/left side/right side/no service road at all, as if there is no nearby access, the society located even right on the RRR will not benefit optimally.
*Just now another “Laphra” for MR is started on the narrowing of the Sawan river bank. It can be seen that BT expressway is not finding its way beyond sector-L.
If MR is successful with court then reaching to new airport is very near from that point, post BT expressway gets connected to RRR.
This part of Pindi has always been thought as “Pichwara” of Pindi but with bypass it is going to challenge even some developments of zone-2!
Another problem for BT is the partially done bridge on Sawan river which is in litigation with villagers , played by solid mafia behind villagers.
There was DHA valley deal between MR/DHA and MR surrendered 1000s of Kanals to DHA, years before around Sawan River. Now how this part of DHA will be connected to RRR? Not clear.
Wait for 2 months and see NESPAK final design. Till that nothing is in clear!

DHA Phase 4 Last sectors(M) are near Gorakhpur forest and almost in front of adiala jail.

Do experts thing that this area will also get boosted or its a but far away?

Will it benefit DHA Phase 3 and Phase 4? Need to understand a bit detail map of the proposed route and the impact on I-16? If any experts can guide.

As per the current plan it all depends upon the access road from the BT phase 8 to RR Rawalpindi. It has to be approved.

Experts kindly advise whether layout plan of RRR has been finalized and the societies on Fateh Jang road currently having no direct access to motorway will get any benefit. In your valued opinions this project will have tangible effect on adjoining societies?

The whole point is bypassing the Pindi traffic so it has to be connected to motorway and Kohat road.

Regarding societies, unless papers are given to the draftsmen, working in filed, no one could talk for sure as entrances/exits yet to be worked out. They have been cut from some old 9 no of locations to Allah knows how many now!



I would say 05, as of new info but it will be cleared in next two weeks, In Shaa Allah. Today A meeting is being held to approve PC-2. Let see "thelay main say billi nikaltee hay ya billi main say thela nikulta hay"

"The 38-kilometre long track of RRR will have three interchanges, 10 overhead bridges, six regular bridges, and a 15-kilometre long network of link roads, for which 1,080 acres of land will be acquired. The process for land acquisition will be started soon."

Further to Imtiaz Sb narration, phase-8 is going to get two access to RRR:

One access overseas-5 side and second from Japan road.

I was in a business meeting for our next commercial project, a 5 Marla tower and several new stuff came out in the meeting.

Finally ch Nisar had a slap on his face ( sorry for word but in this regard, He deserves this word).

RRR has to deal with MR as He owns 1000s of Kanals at RRR, so does DHA.

Regarding 38 km, I have to say, still not clear fully.

I may post the latest route as I have with me but not in clear definition. Our business partner, one of the very successful builder in phase-8, is getting the hard copy and I will scan in good dpi and post In Shaa Allah.

Here is latest status direct from the party who is actually building it:

Total length: 59 km

Cost: 40 billion

Duration: 4 years

Bridges: 6 nos.

Overhead bridges: 10

Interchanges: 02

Phase-1: Channi bridge to Thalian. Completion: 2019

Phase-2: Haj complex attaches to phase-1

Completion: 2020

Phase-3: T- Chowk attaches to phase-1. Completion: 2021

Phase-4: Other road network

Section-1: 38 km ( may be Imtiaz Sb referring only this section).

Section-2: 12 km

Section-3: 9 km

Is that Thalian to I-14?

Ring road is to bypass pindi traffic coming from Lahore and going to Peshawer. Near I-16 it will connect to thalian interchange and then it will go to motorway ---- I think it is supposed to go to GT raod ? where it will touch G.T road ? at I-14 G.T road connection near Haji Complex or some where else.

moreover it will be closed road like motorway mean only interchanges will be allowed for entry / exit or other way ?
