Interesting but make sense for VIP traffic shortest route is to extend Khayaban e Iqbal from F-11 to Turnol, form there they can ether use Fatah Jang road or Kashmir Hi-Way to get to new Airport.
The news of flyover at Tarnol will prove a key event for CDECHS. The bridge will land just before the Gate of CDECHS. Also good news for other Zone II sectors.
But the question is when will be this flyover constructed considering that tarnol phattak has recently been expanded.
The Margalla Avenue is not even completed upto now, talking about this flyover is making palaces in the air. Its mere speculation …
Tarnol crossing expansion has been a huge improvement to cut down travel time to CDECHS E-16/E-17. This was the main bottle neck on rush time. The flyover may come in future but the problem seems to be already solved.
Considering the location, legal status being a CDA sector (to be acquired at some stage) - there is certainly some good juice between what should be fair value vs current price. IMO a 50x90 which is available for 38-50 based on location in E-17/3 - the fair price considering location, prices in surrounding recognized societies be close to 70-75 lacs.
Heard from some one that a road connection between f 17 and e 17 is under discussion… Is that true??

Yes G-15 is a better location over E-16/E-17. This comes second after G-15/F-15. G-15 1 kanal is 1 crore + though
@Umair about the road connection between F-17 and E-17 - it is possibly only if someone can buy the land enough for a road between 2 societies - roughly 1-2 kms distance in between.

This project is in pipline not sure if it would still remain in pipeline or we see any activity in next year. Something to hear and watch in next year budgeting/ planning.

Tarnol flyover is not a make or break for CDECHS anymore as the short to mid-term solution of expansion of Tarnol is already completed this year. When it happens it will further improve the traffic flow but right now the main congestion problem is already solved saving commuters 10-15 minutes that were lost earlier on traffic jams at Tarnol Crossing.
