I want to know the status of DHA valley scheme these days. What is the development schedule and when it would be ready for possession. Can anyone provide this feed back.
Please can someone help in understanding the new Valuation of property by FBR and its impact on buying/selling property.
I bought a certificate of 1 kanal plot in DHA 2 extension in February 2016 and got it registered in my name by paying membership fee to DHA. The allotment certificate does not indicate that I purchased it since it was a certificate only and I am the first allottee in DHA record.
Should I mention the actual price of the plot paid on my tax return since I do have a sale agreement or the FBR value set for DHA 2 Ext, of 38 lac? I also have to pay 6 lacs in instalments to DHA which will be shown as a liability as I understand.... Thanks

DHA homes are almost ready. 2.5 MW power station is operational now. DHA homes possession is expected between October to December. Development work is also in progress in Oleander, Lilly, Bluebell, Magnolia and possession of these blocks is expected in 2017. I am hoping that living will be started here in early 2017
Development work is also in progress in few other sectors.

On the latest Google map image of DHA, once DHA expressway passes the railway line, there seems to be work on streets on going. Is this DHA Phase 2 Ext or just another part of DHA Phase 2? Has any part of DHA expressway actually met DHA Valley?

FBR value is for fully paid files so may showbyour actual value and then pay the development charges and include in it.
@ Nadir - When you passes the railway teach, DHA 2 ext starts. The development is in progress in DHA 2 ext and expressway is almost a completed. There is a river between DHA 2 ext and DHA Valley.

8 marla commercial plot in oleander is hovering b/w 90 to 95 lakh and 4 marla b/w 65 to 75 lakh.
Buying and selling activity is bit slow across Pakistan due to newly imposed taxes. FBR has seen a tremendous fall in the revenue they were getting through real estate sector prior to these taxes. Off course, the current situation is alarming for the government and they are thinking seriously to restore the real estate activities and a revision of these taxes is on the cards now.

People are just pricing their plots in these two sectors. Actually no one is ready to sell till the handover.
May be you get successful in buying on some seller’s contingency but no business trading in these two sectors. However DHA homes are available in the market to buy.
When DHA Valley will give possession of plots? Its been so many damn years that they are waisting time of people

Let us hope that MR’s employee, the retired services persons, are not playing with DHA on time delay tactics, hoping that after Rahil, things would become easy for BT.
