It really does not matter if the current COAS stays or goes. DHA and Bahria have strong partnership. Bahria employees are even working in DHA head office pretending to be DHA staff. These partnerships are stronger then the will to deliver and complete sectors on time. If Army wanted to deliver valley, then they would have done it by now. But they transferred their own people from valley to other project of DHA's.

Before Raheel, this relationship minted 62 billion of DHA valley investors and shaheed’s families savings.
It is only Rahil who stood in front and took 1000’s plots from MR, 1000’s of Kanal land from MR, at the top of the Garden city.
Kamran Kiani is constantly on run and other culprits are in jail.
DHA valley is seeing a development which would never happened if GHQ did not break this cartel of MR/RD/HRL/some of DHA officials.
I may be wrong, sir, as you are much informed person, but regarding plot transfers, everyone was allowed to shift their plots from the dam affected blocks and so far my ears did not any complaint of any transfer problem!
In fact Raheel is blessing both for the motherland and DHAs.

The transfer scam to BTK and phase 8 was a flop. Less then 1500 application applied and that too never got confirmation letter. So everything is in the air for civilian.
DHA Lahore came out with public updates on the DHA city scam and provided effectees with all the facts. They have stopped the transfer of plot business for DHA city.
DHA Islamabad has not provided any single update on the development or possession time line. MR has been giving lollipop since last year about possession.
I would like to see those 62 billion spent on the genuine effectees then i will consider any one a hero.
If you see size of Valley area on map and then compare with actual area of development on google earth, you will see it is negligible amount of work going on.

Valley and extension were to be done by BT and due to a filthy deal between DHA, BT and other partners, it had been delayed on purpose.
Dam drama is also a master piece of the deal and still being played by one of the partners, the RDA.
62 billion money pile has been racked by all partners years before. DHA directorate inside GHQ has got land, plots and GC in lieu of!
If transfers failed then another filthy game!
You are cursing both DHA and BT, so do I but what I am saying is that whatever development we see in valley is something which never happened in the last 8 years!

As per the recent blog of Ma'am Samra Zulfiqar (link of which has been placed in this forum earlier), seems things are not moving into the right direction. The work was resumed with big pomp and show in the current year and the hopes of associated ppl have become alive that they might get the possession soon. But now as we are at the edge of 2016 and it seems that the journey of misery is not over yet. In the meantime, MR went to the Lilly block by his private chopper to inaugurate the newly build mosque, this again indicates something positive. Things in DHA Valley are not certain.
Abdul Qayum Sab and other well informed ppl, please share your thoughts with the current developments in valley.
Ahmed sb, not announced as yet officially by DHA... Therefore, it is still a rumor unless confirmed by DHA...
Possession could be announced anytime, the DHA feels appropriate as the homes are ready for possession since long. Hope they do it soon.

He has to, as in spite of the Dominion mall, theme park , Hayat hotel & other attractions speaking up of fresh oxygen for his phase-8, still things are not happening the way He wants to happen!
All of his hopes now tied up on Gen. Rahil’s successor. The same go slow we are witnessing in DHA-3 for the garden city handover. After handover, DHA-3 is likely to become a giant, being directly connected to GT road, further impacting on the BT’s deeper parts of phase-8
Let us pray from the realms of our hearts for a matching replacement of Gen. Rahil.

Thank you Abdul Qayum Sab for putting your value able comments here. Gen. Raheel Extension is also there on the cards, lets see where things falls. As far as Valley is concerned, there is another development that all the homes have been marked with numbers around 2 days ago. Things are too muddled in valley to make an opinion.
Now that Raheel Sharif's departure is eminent (unless Sharifs throw a spanner in the work with dramatic last minute extension), what is the fate of all those corrective measures of RS and actions against those corrupt elements in/out of uniform.
What is the fate of Valley, and how will markets respond, specially in DHA and BT/BE?

We are pretty confident that In Shaa Allah, before 2017, some good news will be heard from the valley.
Valley has been delayed too much and DHA cannot delay it for ever!
The problem of expressway, through Bluebell & Rose, is one of the fundamental reasons of delay, apart from MR/HRL/DHA/RDA’s so called partnership.
They have, stupidly, exhausted huge resources especially in Bluebell that , they wanted to shift the dam but now it seems provincial govt will make the dam at the original location as it is natural water bowl.
Let us hop for good and wait for the good news:

Salam All,
I visited DHA valley couple of months back and machinery is there and I had seen construction there also but I don't see this project to be ready soon. As per the agent who took me there , this will take at least 2 to 3 more years to get ready but I doubt. Good news is that DHA homes (almost 200)are ready and road is built to access them and most importantly the MUSJID looks amazing there and ready as well.
as per agent , DHA home possession was expected in dec and now moved in early next year ..
lets hope for the best.. Just thought of sharing with u all what I saw there ...hope this is helpful ..

No official news but the unofficial news were about possession in December....
