I am not very experienced in these matters, but I think Valley is safer than BT phase 8. Dam affectees in the Valley should take a small hit by selling their plots and buying plots at safer blocks like Orleander and others.
I am based in Saudi Arabia and have noticed that i rally cannot depend on anybody among my close friends and relatives, to visit the valley and send me a nicely detailed update, so I am dependent on gurus' comments here.
Ammar Sb, 70 percent of the time, you are in safe hands…
Dear Mr. Khan, thank you sir. Much appreciated. I have noticed that "Property Gurus" tend to have very similar views, but I will keep your advice of 70% in mind for buying, selling, holding decision.
Your views mean a lot to me, so thank you once again.
You welcome Ammar Sb.
Brothers what do you say about 8 marla in lilly block.
Hold or what.
Rizwan sb, hold it if you can for at least 8 to 12 months.
Regards
AOA Khan Sb
Sab ka jawab day rahay hain, please meray MARIGOLD ka bhee bata dain, is it in safe area or damn (Dam) waters.
BTW, good to see you on this forum too.
Regards.
W salam Ramay sb,
I think it would be better to get rid of this sector. No one is really sure about the exact location of dam and affected blocks of valley.... If u r still interested in Valley, sale this, and buy in Lilly, Oleander, etc.
Naraz nhe hona, aap hamaaray bhai hein... Kabi dair sawair hojati hy....
Regards
I also have one 8 Marla plot in Marigold…What do you advise? Should I hold or sell it? Since dam location is not certain, whats the best decision? Even if this sector fall in dam location, they will surely adjust them in the remaining blocks and hence I don’t see anyone getting affected because of dam…keeping in mind its DHA and hence probability is high it will not commit such acts.
Junaid Sb, if you can afford the risk, then there is no harm in it… However, on safe side, you may shift to safe blocks…
Thanks a lot Khan Sb.
Aap say mohabbat hay tbhee to piyar bhara shikwa kiya thaa :)
Ramay Sb, hum apki mohabbat ko qadar ki nigaah se dekhtay hein....
May Allah SWT shower HIS blessings upon all of us...
A question for everybody on this forum.
What stops the plotholders of DHA Valley to make a registered Association? I am not quite sure about the legal possibility and value of having this Association, but we can check.
I am not sure why the Government does not promote the concept for all housing projects.
The Association will have officials who will use members' regular contribution to send monthly updates and also represent the interests of the members in court matters.
Any comments?
I called DHA Valley site Office number (+92-51-5708920) today morning and tried to get some clear answers so i could make informed decision if i should transfer or retain my plots at Valley but i felt i lost my minutes on the phone. The customer service rep did not know which sectors will be delivered in December. He had little clue when my sectors (BogenVella and Marigold) will be ready. He did not know if the plot at phase 8 will be in possession state if we request for transfer.
I asked on the DAM issue which sector will be cancelled, he at least said that DHA management has not sent any notification to Valley staff so they are working on the sectors next to the DAM as normal business. The only updates we overseas are getting is from the photos and videos from the members who have visited the site locally. It is a big dent on DHA reputation, they have not informed us of any periodic progress and still keeping us in the dark intentionally.
For Marigold, he said plotting is completed. For bogenvella, he said work is just started.
Asad Malik sb, if u started to rely on their customer service, phir to Allah he hafiz hy… They will never the truth… And especially these CSR have no info at all…
I think you guys should check this out and tell me what you think:

@Samra Zulfiqar, I read it and it is a marvelous advice. Long Live Zameen.com.
This thread was also referred in one of the recent newsletters.
It isn’t true that location of dam and affected block is uncertain. Tulip and Rose are badly affected, Bluebell and Sunflower will see minor effects.
I don't recommend anyone to sell because of the dam issues as DHA will relocate the affected blocks and offer alternate plots to the owners.
DON'T SELL IT IN LOWER RATES BECAUSE OF DAM BECAUSE THAT ISN'T YOUR FAULT AND YOU SHOULDN'T SUFFER.
