I am once again encouraged to buy some stable option either n bahria or dha,reason being have been materialising an apartment purchase in g11 and the headaches i m going through,reminds me badly about dha and bahria where at least i have a mental satisfication of no bribe and fraud as far as deal is concerned,no utility installation issues and stuff,trust me outside things are even more filthy,as far as fate of any project is concerned when you play with files its high gain high loose investment,possession and populated lands at least can give you an option to reside even if prices sink,

In initial planning, Phase-8 extension and phase-9 are not away from each other and they are connected to Bahria expressway. The land was supposed to be taken but then the forest case surfaced and it is logical that further work have to be halted on the court judgment. Now why MR has to stop the work…… Mr. Taji Khokhar (in jail now by the way), Nisar & co, Baris, Gulberg Islamabad fame Haji Nawaz Khokhar and some other determined bad guys ( bad in in Malik Riaz prospective) are at the scene.
The ring road is Rawalpindi bypass road and will join new airport as well. The bridge is the bridge on the swan river which will connect the most part of Rawalpindi with BT expressway.
Let us hope MR succeeds with mafia as I think the moment He is out of trouble, BT will get a boost in development.

Whatever phase-8 is built, it is enough to invest and reside with. Two weeks before I was in Pakistan and witnessed the rush of people in BT head office. It was suffocating there!
BT is getting more than enough in terms of registration fee, transfer, and possession and …..
I personally think this money alone is surplus to sustain BT’s day to day expenses on security, utilities…..
You are very right that file bzness is very risky…..in BT the jumps are in 10s of Lacs either side!
My personal experience: I bought 15*20 commercial side by side when BT was at highest at 1 core 25 Lacs….They touched down to 70 Lacs and now started coming up again at a slow pace.
But I know that within two years they will pay me back if I learn how to hold as construction activity is at a faster pace and after my retirement, which is very near by the way, I can build a plaza by merging both plots and the rent will be mouth watering
I personally second your opinion about buying in DHA or BT in the value added areas not in files

Not sure what is this about?Is it true n what is its impact for investors? Is it complete Garden City including Zone9?

If this news if true, what can be its effect on the prices of Bahria Garden City & Phase-8?
The rumor is there but no confirmation as yet, maybe we will have to wait for a proper announcement from the parties.
If true, its effects will be determined by whether people who bought a plot there to live in Bahria find living under DHA equally acceptable or not? If investors believe DHA will be able to develop and maintain it as per Bahria standards then it will have a positive impact, otherwise it might be a negative news. Garden city was launched as the most upscale regular housing project of Bahria in twin cities. Will this deal, if true, allow this project to maintain that repute? Only time will tell.

Malik has resolved 75% of the matter internal sources.. Garden City Isl going to be joint venture with DHA ...Where Bahria agreed to pay penalty to resolved 25% of the land matter and party on the other end has agreed but yet settlement in the middle....Corruption from Bahria end taken in notice and some concrete step taken in recent meetings .... MR has assured that he'll sort the issues ASAP
