I think Mr Khan is absolutely right, Phase 8 could see further correction over the next one year, followed by a period of relative stability. This will also be the time when many genuine buyers will purchase and start construction on their plots which will provide a more solid basis for future price gains.
@Kashif Sheikh. It seems you were about to share something important but then just stopped. I might have an idea of the possible chain of events that you are hinting at, but can you please explain more? If I have understood you correctly, "it" might have a bigger effect on files but I don't think it will impact possession plots that much, which are already in a correction phase anyway.

Are there any blocks expected to get possession in 2015?
many blocks ie h.e.i etc have been given possession 2 to 3 years back but no significant house construction is visible there?
what are those solid reasons that make ppl believe that 2015 will see phase 8 out of correction phase?
Until Bahria bails out its BE2 and Business District investors, Ph.8 will continue to sink. Possession and house construction is a slow process. Lately, I have seen lot of construction activity in Overseas Enclave sector 5 & 6, but no significant impact on prices.
I checked google maps today and its seems that there is some development progress in Phase 8 pending sectors. May be they will hand over possession to remaining blocks this year
Atleast M-block will get possession within 2015. My friend visited M-block last week and informed me that lot of machinery is currently being deployed there. He talked to site engineer who told him M-block would be completed within maximum 4-5 months.
I visited bahria customer center a week ago to check the stauts of L block. They said its possession is expected by this mid year or maximum year end. Most of its plots and roads are already developed, few are remaining. I had a site visit also.
It continues to develop as the project moves forward.Machinery continually working to improve development progress.I think it's good sign for bright future of phase8.Allah knows best.

@Isloo, Even if Bahria does not bail out BE-2 and Business district investors, they have to bail themselves out..
By this I mean that some of them who don't have the holding power will be selling their investments at what ever is the market price. And after this lesson learnt they will definitely come to more safer investments , one of which is Ph-8.

Bahria Town phase-8, safari valley blocks, is now holding on prices. Freefall has now been stopped.
Good news for Garden City:
A private developer has bought 100 plots of 5 Marla and soon would be a launch of villa houses.
One villa will cost around 90 lacs on installments. Most probably the project will reside in zone-4 Garden City. It seems Malik Riaz is very close to make a deal with the villagers who are refusing to give about ½ kilometer passage to connect BT expressway to GT road. If that deal is done, Garden city will be just 3 kilometer away from the GT road and that will shine Garden City instantly.
I cannot tell you whether or not the deal has been finalized but I can ell you that BT again started work on the expressway adjacent to the village.
The problem is, villagers are asking for the market price and MR is saying that He has given them road, nice infrastructure and facilities and demanding > 1 crore Rs for 1 Kanal land is unjustified.
Let us see who wins MR or the GUY who is behind the villagers???????
How can someone charge 1 crore for 1 kanal of agricultural land. You can buy plots in good societies for less than 1 crore.
But the land directly off GT is probably worth that much because it gives access to GT and maybe used for commercial.

In my opinion 1 crore for 1 kanal(if front is more 50ft and clear)of agricultural land at GT road is best option than 6 to 11Km inside best societies.

It is not 1 crore, it is more than 1 crore for 1 Kanal.
Plus it is hard to write here the mafia who is behind the scene.....it is obvious though!
BT is having other projects in pipeline and those project have to have access through that village otherwise those projects cannot even be started.
The mafia who is behind that small piece of land is the same who has filed the case of the forest land, supposedly, took by MR.
The game is very big.
The developer who is about to start the 100 villa plots in garden city , phase-4, is not fool to construct something 20 KM away from the GT road access.
I think MR has reached some sort of deal with the mafia and it would not surprise me if I hear that those 100 villas plots belong to ……..???????

Barhia 8 is ripe for investment now in my opinion
It has reached bottom
And we can expect slow and steady rise in the next few months and years as construction and population increases
