Loralai: Partaking in the nation-wide plantation drive, Divisional Commissioner (Zhob) Sohail Baloch recently planted a tree in the Loralai Family Park and launched the monsoon plantation campaign, according to news sources.
Commissioner Baloch spoke to the ceremony and stressed the importance of greenery for the conservation of life. He said that the preservation of forest cover and increasing it is synonymous with securing a future for our coming generations. The lack of forest cover has been the cause of our water scarcity, floods, climate change and other natural calamities, he added.

He requested for individuals to partake in the campaign and not just for plantation but to nourish the saplings afterwards. He called the protection of forests a natural duty.
He directed for trees to be planted on the premises of Loralai Municipal Committee, Levies check posts, edges of highways and those public places where they can be regularly tended to.
Additional Commissioner Ayub said that Loralai Family Park is about to open its gates soon ad offers an all-equipped entertaining venue for people.

Agriculture Deputy Director Noor Mohammad, Agriculture Officer Muheebulla, Deputy Commissioner Kashif Nabi, District Forest Officer Shah, B&R Anwar Loni, sub-divisional officers, and other related officials were also present for the ceremony.
