Islamabad:A Karachi-based construction company that developed the Zero Point Interchange was recently awarded the contracts for three mega road projects in the federal capital, according to a news report.
On Thursday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had opened bids for the construction of the Korang Bridge, the PWD Underpass on Islamabad Expressway, and the Rawal Dam Interchange. A joint venture between Maqbool Associates and Calson won the contracts for all three projects as they had submitted the lowest bids.

These details were shared by member planning and engineering Dr Shahid Mahmood, who added that these projects would be officially awarded to the selected developers once all legal proceedings and formalities had been concluded.
