Quetta: The Quetta Development Authority (QDA) spokesperson on Thursday (November 11) said that the civic agency had completed the development work including infrastructural development for roads, water supply and sewerage works in the Zarghoon Housing Scheme. He further stated that the QDA had deposited funds worth PKR 431 million into WAPDA’s account for the provision of electricity.

According to the QDA spokesperson, the Balochistan government is currently working on the construction of a school, college and a hospital in the said society. He also revealed that the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) would issue a demand notice to start issuing gas connections in the society. This is despite the fact that due to low gas pressure, the SNGPL had banned issuance of new gas connections in the city.

The official also mentioned that the society’s boundary wall had been completed.
