Zameen.com’s classifieds newspaper is making waves!

At Zameen.com, we are always a step ahead. The competitive business environment requires companies to come up with creative ideas time and time again and this portal does just that with innovative additions to its products and services. Just a few months ago, Zameen.com launched a classifieds newspaper containing featured logos, large advertisements and, of course, classifieds! This addition has received an amazing response, quickly becoming the talk of the town.

The newspaper is printed once a month and is currently preparing to launch its 4^th edition. The first edition came out in November 2015. Presently, it circulates in six cities across Pakistan: Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala. More than 15,000 copies are distributed and a larger quota is reserved for the metropolises of Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad, which receive 4,000 copies a month.

Zameen classifieds has a business-to-business approach and is sent free of cost to real estate agents in respective cities. Using this material, the agents can quickly and effectively find leads through the advertisements and significantly increase business. Future plans do include increasing circulation to households as well.

Do you want to know the most interesting and useful feature of Zameen.com’s classifieds newspaper? It is completely in Urdu and it targets a much wider audience. What I mean by this is that while Pakistan is progressing at a very rapid scale and computer literacy is at a previously unseen high, a large percentage of the population is still not as comfortable or familiar with the use of computers and websites.

While the Zameen.com platform provides an excellent contemporary service for real estate agents, developers, investors, and other parties, there was still a need for a more traditional approach – products and services offered through print media. The amazing monthly Zameen.com Magazine is completely in English, which is why this classifieds newspaper fills in the gaps.

Overwhelming response

Currently, the readership is well over 60,000 and expected to rise. Team Zameen is working to further customise the product to better serve customers.

The response received by the first three editions of Zameen classifieds newspaper has been incredible and agents have continuously been making in requests to feature their ads and classifieds in the monthly print publication.

In the future, Zameen.com will look into publishing other versions of the newspaper in different languages such as Pushto, Sindhi, and Saraiki. However, so far, the Urdu version of the newspaper is seeing immense success and Team Zameen is really excited about what the future may bring.
