The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) International Expo 2016 was hosted at the Karachi Expo Centre from August 12th-14th. Being a Pearl sponsor of the event, Zameen.com was an integral part of the extravaganza and after a successful three days, was able to make the most of the opportunity.
The three-day event began at 9:00 am on Friday, August 12th with an inauguration ceremony which was graced with the presence of Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, who was the chief guest. Exhibitors in the categories of real estate, construction, home maintenance and design, furniture, and other categories were dispersed throughout the six halls that the event was held in while Zameen.com’s stall was located in Hall 2.
A number of representatives from Team Zameen were present at the event including Country Head Business Development Rizwan Khalid, Director Business Development Chaudhary Laeeque Iftikhar, and other prominent members of the team. CEO Zeeshan Ali Khan also attended the event and met important individuals from the real estate sector while discussing future business prospects with visitors.
Country Head Business Development Rizwan Khalid was quick to exclaim that the event was highly beneficial for Zameen.com and visitors to the real estate portal’s stall as they were able to thoroughly understand how the portal was used, the new business opportunities offered, and the exciting new features that the portal was adding to enhance user experience.
Zameen.com gave away goodie bags, notepads, pens, and other merchandise to visitors at their stall and at the end of the event, ABAD’s Chairman Hanif Gohar and Convener Haris Mithani presented Country Head Rizwan Khalid with a certificate of appreciation. Khalid said, “The turnout at the event was rather commendable and we were successful in educating existing and future clients regarding the usefulness of the portal and how the user experience has been enhanced with new additional features. We were also able to discuss business opportunities with important individuals of the real estate sector and inform them of all that the portal is currently offering.”
Overall, the event was undoubtedly a success, and the visitors and exhibitioners both benefitted greatly from it. Team Zameen concluded the event with enthusiasm and expressed the desire to be a part of such events in the future.
