Zameen.com has shifted to a new place, a place that suits our corporate image more and offers us a wider space to carry out our day-to-day operations. We are in DHA Lahore Phase 3 now, plaza no. 42-A Commercial Broadway XX, to be precise. It is our first day in the new office and everything seems to be getting quickly in place. Shifting an entire office over the weekend was one hell of a task and its entire credit goes to the HR Manager Farhan Naseem and his team. With 10 trucks loaded with office furniture and supplies, we said goodbye to our previous office in Gulberg 3 on Friday, Jan 31, 2014 and felt excited to be at this new place.
Now settled in the new premise with glass walls surrounding us, this bright five floored building instantly started to look familiar and welcomed us with its warm and calm interior. We were too excited to begin work right away and decided to first explore the whole building. After seeing the flights of staircases, my high heels gave me a sarcastic look but I didn’t give up the idea of going all the way up and seeing every inch of this new building. Just as we expected, this new place is spacious and has a chic corporate feel, where we will have more room to entertain our guests as well as welcome new colleagues on board.
The most important aspect of having this new place to work from was the shifting process that was completed in just two days. The admin and his team did a flawless job and they work straight for 2 days to help us begin on Monday. Nothing lost, nothing broken and all set just after 48 hours. I think we need tips from Farhan Naseem about carrying out a quick and efficient shifting process. Let’s see if he will have time during this week to offer us some detailed insight into how he made this possible without costing Zameen.com any man hours. Good work folks, thanks a bundle.
