Zameen.com, the leading property portal of Pakistan, organised a two-day Technology and Real Estate conference in Karachi on December 9 and 10, 2014. The event received a massive response from the real estate agents of the city as more than 110 of them attended these conferences. The Zameen.com Technology and Real Estate conference offered the local real estate agents of the city an educational opportunity to help them stay abreast of developments in online business operations. These conferences highlighted the effective usage of technology for the growth of individual property businesses in Karachi. At the event, Mr Zeeshan Ali Khan, the Co-Founder of Zameen.com and Bayut.com, a widely used property portal of the UAE, shed light on the globally practiced business strategies and rising use of technology in real estate sectors across the world.
Similar to many other educational campaigns launched by Zameen.com, these conferences comprised training programmes specially designed to show the real estate agencies of Karachi the effectiveness of the internet for their business in general and the collective growth of the Pakistani real estate sector in particular. In January last year, Zameen.com collaborated with DEFCLAREA, the biggest realtor association of Pakistan, to organise a similar event in Karachi. Ever since then, Zameen.com has regularly held these conferences in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, and of course Karachi, and has become the only property portal in the country working on making the sector more tech savvy. The efforts of Zameen.com have transformed the way many real estate agencies operate in Pakistan. These conferences have not just helped the estate agents explore more mediums for business growth but have also helped smaller agents get on board and join the big leagues. “We want to continue being the gateway to success for real estate agencies of all scales by sharing key information with them,” said Zeeshan Ali Khan. The Zameen.com Real Estate and Technology conferences were hugely popular with the participating agencies, who appreciated the portal’s efforts to help all real estate agencies in the country get equal growth opportunities.
