Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has recently inaugurated the Zaitoon Ashraf IT Park near the Baloch Colony Bridge, as reported in a news article on September 19.

According to the details, the facility, developed by Saylani Welfare International Trust, offers advanced IT infrastructure and aims to provide modern education in information technology.
Governor Tessori commended Saylani for its contributions to IT education and highlighted the government’s support for private and nonprofit IT initiatives to boost foreign exchange earnings. He emphasised the critical role of IT and telecommunications in the country’s development.
Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri projected that by 2035, Saylani’s IT initiatives would help reduce Pakistan’s dependency on international financial institutions. UAE Consul General Bakheet Al-Rumaithi praised the project and expressed optimism about Pakistan’s youth’s future progress.

The event was attended by Saylani Trust’s founder Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri, foreign diplomats, including Consul Generals from Bahrain, Malaysia, UAE, Turkey, Japan, Indonesia, and the Deputy Consul General of Iran, alongside business leaders and other prominent figures.
