The ‘Go Green Pakistan, Yunnan Chapter, Page 1’ planting initiative is co-donated by the province through the Yunnan People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and China Yunnan Sunny Road and Bridge Corporation, which works on numerous infrastructure projects in Pakistan. According to the statement, the tree planted along N-5 will help decrease rapidly growing pollutants, increase green cover, curb unabated carbon emissions, and assist the country in mitigating the harmful effects of global warming. The Yunnan Province will provide funds and technical support for the green initiative, while the maintenance of the project will be under the control of the provincial government.
