Karachi: A group of youngsters planted over 2,300 Neem saplings in Gulshan-e-Iqbal under the Green Karachi Green Pakistan campaign, reported a news source. The organisation had earlier help a similar camp in Nazimabad to help people realise that planting trees can bring the temperature in Karachi down.
The organisation’s administrator told the media that he has no political agenda, neither the campaign is run under a funding. For planting trees in Karachi, the organisation collects charity and motivate the youth to plant more trees in the city.
During this campaign held in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, the volunteering members also distributed Neem saplings to the people passing by.
