Mansehra: Federal Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal initiated the blacktopping of the Balakot-Garhi Habibullah Road and the construction of the Hassa Bridge over the Kunhar River, a news source reported on August 10.
As per the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sanctioned funds amounting to PKR 1.2 billion for Balakot-Garhi Habibullah Road and the construction of the Hassa Bridge, as confirmed by PML-N Central Vice-President Sardar Mohammad Yusuf. He highlighted that various projects have been launched in the Hazara division including the Hazara Motorway, projects related to airports, gas, and various other developmental initiatives.
Yusuf added that these endeavours are poised to bring about positive socioeconomic transformations in the lives of the residents. He revealed that the construction of the Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Motorway is set to commence soon, as the federal government has not only approved this major project but has also allocated funds for its realization.
