Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Waste Management Company has resumed work on restoration of sewerage system near Dhok Kashmirian Road, according to a news report. Sanitation staff cleaned drains around the road with the help of heavy machinery under the supervision of Syed Hasan Shah, an officer of Waste Management Company. This work will continue for two days.
Faulty sewerage has been a longstanding issue in Dhok Kashmirian area, which now appears to be getting fixed. Shah said that every possible measure will be taken to resolve public issues. Efforts will be made that people don’t have to face sewerage issues in the future, he said.
