According to a representative for the Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA), once the central business district is completed, Lahore would be the country’s first metropolis to have such a project. It is worth noting that the LCBDDA auctioned off five commercial plots in the CBD in September of this year, after which construction began in October. In total LCBDDA controlled 278 acres of land after its creation at the start of the year in February.
