Faisalabad: Developmental work on 130, out of the 270 uplift schemes initiated in Faisalabad, has been completed — a news source reported. As per the publication, the status of these and other on-going developmental projects was discussed at a meeting held yesterday (December 19).

The meeting was chaired by Faisalabad Divisional Commissioner Ishrat Ali. Deputy commissioners of Faisalabad, Totba Tek Singh and other officials from the Faisalabad Division were also in attendance.
As per the details shared during the meeting, work on a total of 270 development schemes is expected to be carried out in Faisalabad. These projects are estimated to cost PKR 16.25 billion. Out of these projects, work on the construction of various road projects is currently underway, of which 25 have already been completed.

The Faisalabad additional deputy commissioner stressed that the development projects have to be completed on times. He also directed the attendees of the meeting to highlight issues that cause hurdles in the implementation of developmental work.
