Lahore: Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has commended the remodelling of Kalma Chowk and Central Business District (CBD) Punjab Boulevard, according to news published on November 24.

The news source mentioned that the PCBDDA has ensured public relief and safety during the construction of the mega project. The authority has been using different platforms to provide maximum information about road blockades to the commuters in order to avoid any inconvenience. It was disclosed that the PCBDDA is working in collaboration with City Traffic Police (CTP)-Lahore to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
PCBDDA Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain stated that the remodelling of Kalma Chowk and CBD Punjab Boulevard is a massive scale project and the authority is working for its timely completion. He went on to say that pile work from Saint Mary Park to Center Point is near completion and pile work on Ali Zeb Road has also started.

Currently, the road from Saint Mary to Center Point is closed to traffic. The traffic coming from Ferozepur Road towards Liberty is being redirected to Gaddafi Stadium or diverted to Kalma Chowk Underpass towards Liberty Market. Moreover, the traffic coming from Liberty Market towards Ali Zeb Road is directed to use Main Boulevard while the traffic from Barkat Market towards Ali Zeb Road can use Kalma Chowk Underpass is diverted from UCH U-turn.
