Sialkot: Work is being done on 689 projects at a cost of more than PKR 24 billion under Annual Development Program 2017-18, according to a news report. This was said by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Farrukh Naveed during a meeting of the District Coordination Committee, where the progress on ongoing development projects was being monitored. He added that funds have already been provided by the Punjab government for timely completion of these projects and 77% of the work is complete on average in all of these projects.
He also instructed that thorough plans should be made for a new sewerage system in the city, and a proposal to connect the existing sewerage system with the old one should also be prepared.
