It is pertinent to mention that the initial plan was to set up an industrial estate in Chunian; however, it was abandoned because of the high level of groundwater. Later, it was decided to transform the industrial estate into an aqua business park. The Aqua Business Park Chunian will have a large-scale export of tilapia fish, shrimp, and prawns.
