Gujranwala: In collaboration with the World Bank, the Tehsil Administration Komake has prepared a beautification plan for Gujranwala, a news source quoted Kamoke Assistant Commissioner Abbas Jota as saying. As per officials, the project is estimated to cost PKR 120 million.

Under the beautification project, Kamoke will see addition of a better and improved sewerage system; storm drains will be built along GT Road. In addition, the city will see the installation of streetlights on underpasses and along the GT Road. Furthermore, construction of greenbelts and ladies gym are also planned under this project.

Assistant Commissioner Jota also mentioned that Gujranwala Deputy Commissioner Naila Baqir has instructed that the development projects for Tehsil Kamoke pe initiated and completed on a priority basis. Jota has taken the responsibility to make Komake a model tehsil of Gujranwala District.
