Rawalpindi: The Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) has decided to connect the area’s water supply with a metre system, reported a news source. In the test run, 500 metres will be connected with the supply to check the system’s feasibility. The decision was taken in the CCB meeting, which was presided by Cantt Board President Brig. Shehzad Tanveer.
The meeting also approved the suggestions of the board members for water supply and related repair work and gave a go-ahead for 14 projects. During the same meeting, the contract for a slaughterhouse was auctioned and a building plan for 19 residential units was approved.
