Karachi: The Water Commission Head Justice Ameer Hani Muslim has asked the West District’s and East District’s factory owners to submit details on their treatment pants respectively on June 28 and July 2, reported a news source. The commission was formed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to ensure quality water supply in the city.
Muslim also ordered the Qasim Port Authority and Sindh Environment Protection Authority to carry out inspection of treatment plants of these factories and carry out legal action against those unwilling to cooperate. Furthermore, Muslim called on the contractors hired by Solid Waste Management Board to clear off litter in Malir District and West District on June 27.
Muslim also issued the order to hand over records of all development projects lying with different court in Sindh to Engineer Works.
