Multan: The Managing Director Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) Rao Muhammad Qasim has stated that resolution of water and sewerage issues is a priority, a news source reported. Public will be provided an immediate relief.
He stated that all resources will be utilised to fulfill the reassigned responsibilities. He was expressing his feeling on the occasion of taking charge of his responsibilities anew. He said that he cannot thank the people of Multan and WASA employees enough for their love.
Speaking to the media, he detailed his plans on water and sewerage. Old sewerage lines will be changed in different parts under Annual Development Programme 2018-19. Similarly, disposal station on Chungi #9 also needs upgradation. Approvals have already been granted for these projects. Soon, the pre-qualification and tendering processes for these projects will be completed to launch them as soon as possible.
