Karachi: The Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Syed Ali Zafar inaugurated wastewater treatment plant in Karachi on 7th July 2018, according to a news story. The caretaker minister paid his regards to the father of the nation and also put flowers on his mausoleum.
This wastewater treatment plant is important for Karachi as the city suffers from a lack of waste management system. The wastewater treatment plant is going to reduce sewerage being dumped in the sea and the over-spilling of open drains during monsoon rains. The caretaker minister is to serve for only an interim period but envisions that good governance can solve the city’s civic problems.
