Quetta: A large number of defaulters of the Water and Sanitation Agency in Quetta include the rich and influential and WASA has resolved to take action against them, according to a news report.
Speaking on the matter, WASA Managing Director Wali Muhammad stated that a large number of defaulters are either hotels, service stations, or large luxury houses whose owners haven’t paid the charges on water and are hurting the national exchequer, so WASA will take immediate and effective action against them.
He further said that he himself is monitoring the process of recovery of bills and special tasks have been assigned to the staff to recover all outstanding bills.
