Lahore: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) managing directors (MDs) have agreed on getting authority status for the agency, a news source reported. The MDs demanded the status in a meeting chaired by provincial minister for housing Mian Mehmood ul Rasheed.
The MDs were of the opinion that WASA has to depend on development authorities for their decisions and it faces issues as a result. The provincial minister gave the green signal for that and asked the MDs to submit their recommendations, which will be further sent to the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
