Faisalabad: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director (MD) Faqeer Muhammad Chaudhary has instructed WASA employees to ensure immediate drainage of rainwater from intersections, public spaces, and road, according to a news report. He also instructed that water in lowlands should be drained using water pumps and additional resources.
He further said that these potentially heavy rains are a challenge for WASA, for which all officials and staff members will have to work harder than usual. He also instructed WASA staff to remain active and monitor the situation during rains.
