For water conservation, WASA is expected to hold special ceremonies and launch awareness campaigns on the International Water Day (observed on March 22). Under this project head, the authority will organise special events at schools to spread the message. In addition, awareness campaigns to stop water wastage through leakages and broken water lines will also be launched. Reportedly, WASA will change its old sewerage lines to check further water leakages.

Under this arrangement, WASA is expected to offer amnesty to those involved in water theft and operating illegal water connections.
