Islamabad: The federal cabinet on Wednesday approved the lease of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) land in Nankana Sahib at the rate of PKR 4,500 per acre — a news source reported. As per the publication, the cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The cabinet meeting was held generally to discuss preventive methods to counter the coronavirus situation in the country. The meeting discussed agenda items and other important issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic and the country’s current financial situation.
The meeting also reviewed the impact of the epidemic on the
country’s economy and discussed the package planned to boost the construction
sector. The Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub briefed the prime minister on
the distribution, billing and other matters related to the power division.
In addition, the cabinet also took the opportunity to review
the measures taken against hoarders benefiting from the crisis of human coronavirus across
the country.
