Lahore: The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced a residential scheme for its employees – a news source reported.

Under this project, houses will be provided to employees whose basic pay scale (BPS) ranges from one to 16.
A seven-member committee has been formed to this effect. Member WAPDA Power Division is the convener of this committee, whereas the General Manager HR Committee has been appointed as its vice-convener.
Other members include Director General Finance, Director General Law, Project Director, General Secretary CBA Union, and a representative of the WAPDA Foundation.

The members have been tasked with preparing recommendations for the said scheme. The authority will develop the housing project in light of these propositions.
