Lahore: Virgin Atlantic – a renowned British airline – has announced its decision to expand operations in Pakistan and inclusion of additional flights between Lahore and Islamabad, and the United Kingdom (UK), according to news published on October 6.

The airline has been running operations in Pakistan since 2020 and has announced its expansion plan as part of recovery efforts to recuperate losses concurred during the global pandemic. Virgin Atlantic has been strategically deploying aircraft based on demand.

It is expected that the airline will operate five two-way flights on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from Lahore to London. Similarly, four flights per week will operate from Islamabad.
