Islamabad: Utility Store Corporation (USC) of Pakistan has decided to get evaluation of its immovable property assets across the country, reported a news source. The decision has been taken to get a value estimation of the property owned by the corporation.
The USC currently operates over 5,500 utility stores in the country to offer goods and commodities on discounted rates. Reportedly, the corporation has decided to automate its offices and stores for ensuring better operations. Under this plan, the corporation will automate its head office, nine zonal offices, 65 regional offices and 1,000 stores in the first phase.
The automation process will assist in computerisation of the utility store’s record, introduce transparency in records, and allow for enhancing sales. The project was proposed in the past but had faced lapses. The corporation has finally decided to get the evaluation for its immovable property assets done. In this, regard, proposals from private companies have also been invited.
