Lahore: United States (US) Consulate Lahore’s Political and Economic Chief Kathleen Gibilisco on Saturday (February 12) visited the residential and industrial site of the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project (RRUDP) and discussed various projects, according to media reports.

As per the details, Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imran Amin met the US Consulate delegation and was briefed on the RRUDP at Lakho Der Farmhouse. During the visit, US delegate Gibilisco showed interest in learning more about the development of residential and industrial zones in the project.
Sharing details about the project, the CEO disclosed that the Chahar Bagh residential project will feature 3,000 apartments, 10 marla & 1 kanal houses, and 40% green cover. Business Bay is expected to have a turnover of over one billion dollars, informed CEO Amin.

Moreover, the US delegate was also briefed on the development of a 70 MW power plant in the industrial area of Lakho Der. CEO Amin also revealed that flats will be constructed for the labourers and the industrial area will be linked with Ring Road, Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11).
