Karachi: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has offered American businessmen to benefit from investment opportunities under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project – a news source reported.
He was talking to a five-member delegation headed by US Consul General to Karachi JoAnne Wagner. This delegation met Ismail at the Governor’s House.

The two sides discussed a range of subjects. These included bilateral ties, investment opportunities under CPEC, and Karachi’s importance to the international economy.
Governor Ismail said that CPEC would usher in a new era of economic development and prosperity. He remarked that US investors should benefit from the economic corridor project.

Moreover, he invited the visiting businessmen to invest in Karachi. He informed that a group of Pakistani investors would visit the United States soon. He said that the current government was committed to providing a conducive investment environment.
In response, Consul General JoAnne Wagner assured all possible cooperation. She said that the United States wanted Pakistan to prosper in all fields.
