Lahore: The Government of Punjab’s Urban Unit has announced its decision to construct the tallest building in the province on the Canal Road in Lahore – a news source reported.
The Urban Unit has already appointed consultants for the design and feasibility report for the building. An agreement in this regard was signed between the Urban Unit’s CEO Khalid Sherdil and DG Civil Private Limited Advisor Haider Zaman Qureshi.

Under this deal, the Urban Unit will provide expert assistance to the DG Civil Group for the designs and feasibility of Punjab’s tallest, and Pakistan’s second tallest, building.

The building’s architecture is expected to be an admixture of Lahore’s cultural past and modern construction techniques. It will also have luxury residential facilities, a business centre, entertainment services and offices. According to the officials, this is going to be the first building of its kind in Lahore that will provide all the facilities a person can think of, under a single roof.
