Attock: The District Development Committee (DDC) on Sunday revealed that the Punjab government would execute uplift schemes worth over PKR 1,200 million in the district during financial year (FY) 2020-21, a news source reported. According to details, the provincial government plans to execute 87 uplift schemes in Attock with a sum of PKR 1,277.565 million.

Deputy Commissioner Ali Anan Qamar chaired the DDC meeting while several other officials concerned were also in attendance.
The members of the meeting stated that PKR 302.299 million had been allocated for the execution of five different schemes pertaining to the construction of buildings. They added that there was an allocation of PKR 1695.191 million for 23 public health projects, along with PKR 339.041 million for six different sports facilities in various towns of Attock.

Meanwhile, PKR 5952 million has been reserved for 25 projects related to the construction of highway roads and 2757.105 million for the execution of four schemes for improving the irrigation system in the district.
