Peshawar: On Monday, Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan went to the tribal district of Kurram to inaugurate improvement work on two grid stations. They were located in the Ali Zai and Sadda areas, a news source reported.

The CM was informed that both grid stations are to be upgraded from 66 KV to 132 KV. The one in Sadda will cost PKR 870 million, of which PKR 609 million has been released so far. The one in Ali Zai is expected to cost PKR 850 million, of which PKR 595 million has currently been allotted.

Towards the end of his visit, the CM was invited to attend a khuli kutcheri organized by the local administration. Khan went to the meeting and directed the local government to take steps to increase the interaction between the local bodies and the public. He said he was hopeful that this step would help alleviate the grievances of the people quicker than ever before.
