In its Field Visit Report submitted to the chief secretary, the UPDD highlighted the development schemes for Sibi, Dalbandin, Lasbella, Kachi and Kalat; further notifying a lack of divisional offices in all but Kalat Division of Khuzdar.
UPDD Secretary Abdul Latif Kakar mentioned that in the absence of the requisite divisional offices, it will be hard to execute development activities in the interior region of the province. Similarly, the recruited divisional staff (being 563 in number) were left redundant, owing to the absence of the respective offices.
