The army-run Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has recently entered Peshawar’s real estate market with a large-scale housing project to provide the city’s residents with an opportunity to enjoy high-end living. Though the official launch of the society is yet to be done by the authority, property files are being traded in the locality and investors are already eyeing massive returns on their respective investments in DHA Peshawar.
The soft launch of the society was scheduled for February 2015, but it did not take place. Now our sources tell us that the society will be launched in a few days. Gandhara Real Estate Chief Executive Officer Mr Arbab Ashfaq told Zameen.com that a meeting of the officials concerned was held in this regard fairly recently.
Plot files in DHA Peshawar are currently available in the market and can only be traded through the registered agents of the authority. Furthermore, I would like to tell you that DHA had purchased land from the landowners and compensated them with plots files, which are now being traded in the market on lump sum cash payment, with no instalments or development charges involved.
Mr Ashfaq also told Zameen.com that the price of a 1-kanal plot file in DHA Peshawar was currently hovering around Rs 6,000,000.
Scores of people, especially property investors, are awaiting the official launch of the society. In my personal opinion, the launch of DHA will provide a boost to the real estate sector of Peshawar and many investors from across the country will likely throng the locality for a chance to bag good returns.
I understand that many of these investors might be somewhat confused at the moment, but the official launch of DHA Peshawar will put most of their questions to rest. So, keep your fingers crossed because an excellent investment opportunity is coming your way.

Secondly, I think there is know issue if you actually trading through a registered agent.
The prices seems to be very very high. Where is the location. will the offer from DHA be on installment basis.
At this point, I am unable to say whether DHA would come up with an instalment plan or not. We are keeping an eye on the development and we shall update you as soon as any authentic information becomes available.

DHA’s investments have always been secure and long term. Rates for the DHA Peshawar is not high as compare to Hayatabad, Askari-6 and other prolific housing schemes.

the rates are too high and common man and salaried persons can not buy a plot in this scheme..installment is also too high for low income people. they should reduce their installment plan.
